January 31st

Is this chair getting smaller? Compare this picture with the ones in "2 months + 1 week"
Look at all these toys we can play with!
Who needs toys when you have hands!

Bravo: Here, try a taste of my hand. Does it taste the same as yours?

Another visitor

We had a lovely week long visit with Ji-i-ma who came bearing gifts from Houston. I think the boys are a little spoiled.

J. A-ku was taking a little nap so we were trying not to disturb him.

Thanks for the hoodies, K. A-i. When are you coming to visit?

New found freedom

Following in the footsteps of Wasabi, the boys have a new pastime.

Bravo: I'm working on getting my other hand up.

Alpha seems pretty happy about this new found freedom to turn in circles and practice standing... Uh-oh, does that mean mobility is just around the corner?

Bravo: HEY!! What's that?
Alpha: I've got a hanging butterfly thingy. Next time we can switch. :)

Sushi-sitting

Pick the best definition for Sushi-sitting: a) sitting on a sushi b) Sushi sitting c) Sushi practicing her babysitting skills d) Sushi letting us practice our babysitting skills e) some of the above.

The Showerheads had the joy of Sushi-sitting this past weekend. Lots of b) and c) and d) going on.

Here's some b) and c). Note the orderly placement of all the toys for the boys.

Feeding time! Sushi has lots of practice holding bottles and gently holding heads.

Now it's time for Sushi to eat

Half in the mouth is pretty good, right? Don't worry, she didn't eat the entire pizza. Just half the toppings and bowls of yummy soup.

Sunday adventures

What a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy God's creation.

The Sushi family introduced us to a bird sanctuary in Ladner.
Sushi is feeding the ducks (mallards to be specific, green headed are males and the brown ones are females). They sure do like to follow her around.
This is what it looks like to take 3 pre-mobile babies on a walk along a trail.

Daddy's going for the wind-blown look. See the pretty snow-capped mountains in the background?

Pushi and Sushi leading the way down the path for us.

Thanks for taking all our family shots, Mushi!
Anyone else want to join us on the next Sunny Sunday?

Week of January 21

This is what we're looking like this week.

One of our favourite activities is to fit as many fingers as possible into our mouths. Anyone's hand in anyone's mouth is good.

Mommy moves us all over the house during the day and likes to make us laugh. We clasp our hands now too and it looks like we're praying.

Alpha: Let me tell you a secret, Bravo's fallen asleep!
Refreshed after a 30 second power nap.

A-goh's birthday

We went to A-goh's surprise birthday party this weekend. She was surprised to see so many people in her house. We had 7 other playmates there and we met Cousin Foxtrot's other Cousin Alpha (female).

This is our good side.
See no evil, drool no evil, think no evil ... What are these fellas cooking up?
Wasabi: Look how tall I am!
Bravo: I'm getting squished!
Alpha: Hey, why are the girls at the front?
Foxtrot: What's over there?
Alpha (f): zzzz

A-gong watches tv with us.

A-ma likes to rub our head.

This is what we looked like 4 months ago.
Can you spot the differences? (besides switching sides)

1) Our parents now put us in clothes

2) We have eyebrows and eyelashes

3) Cradle cap is part of our lives

4) We like to scratch our heads

5) Dad's thumbs have shrunk

And this is what we look like with our eyes (mostly) open! (Bravo on left)

Triplets from down under?!?

Ha ha, just kidding. :)
C. A-i and R. I-diu came by to see us again and so did the Sushi Family (sans Pushi). Don't stay away too long or we might have to go down under to find you.

Hangin' out

Here's what the 3 Muskateers have been up to lately.
Which way is up?
