Raising the bar

Thanks to the incredible self-sacrificing efforts of Princess A-i (from Calgary who seems to be adverse to having her photo taken), their nursery is painted. Thanks to a-i and a-ku up the street, the house was clean and ready for people to descend upon it.

The Sushi Family outdid themselves with powerpoint and unique games that everyone enjoyed - from the grandparent generation (a-gongs and a-mas) to all the friends and families (a-i, a-ku, a-jik, a-goh, etc) who came. It was very impressive and extremely thoughtful. I think they've raised the bar on baby showers. Thanks to everyone who helped out with cooking (goh-diu and Uncle L) and all the preparations and cleanup for the day. Thank you also for the very generous gifts, prayers, support and encouragement for the twins.

Here's a look at what their nursery currently looks like. (Final layout yet to be determined.)

And here's A-i showing off her talents at the Vancouver Aquarium Beluga Show taking the audience on a journey to the arctic. And some of us in the audience.
