At home for a week

We were discharged from the hospital last Friday, and we've now spent over a week with the twins at home. We've had lots of visitors (especially the grandparents) and have really appreciated all the food that has been brought to us and the household chores that have been done. It's been such a blessing to find the sink clean and empty after last seeing it filled with dirty dishes, same goes for clean folded laundry. Basically it feels like everyone is taking care of us as we take care of the twins.
The A-mas have been initiated into the twins routine and will be able to help with tandem feedings once Dad goes back to work on Wednesday. We're still struggling to get up in the middle of the night (amazing how all those years of hitting the snooze button are now paying off because we're able to sleep right through the alarm - not a good thing when you're trying to feed every 3 hours!!). The ~4am feeding is always the killer. 1am and 7am somehow don't seem as bad. If the twins are fussy, it often means no sleep between feedings for Mom. Dad has been great helping at night, but we'll have to wean him off the night feedings a bit as he heads back to work.
Here are some photos from this past week. Can you tell them apart?

They're ADORABLE!!! Soooo cute!!! I think all your years of going to bed late and being really busy has prepped you for the middle of the night feedings. :) Yes, those ones between 12 and 6am are difficult, for sure... but it won't be for long. Really! Just enjoy being with them... it's too bad you can't do lying-down feeds with twins at the same time though!!! Doh! Hang in there... and take naps during the daytime. Good luck!!

What a wonderful study break looking at those adorable faces! One looks a tad bigger (it may just be my difficulty with adjusting for the distance the photo was taken) ? which one's which? and i'm still waiting for those 24/7 webcams :)

Good job mommy and daddy. The babies are growing nicely. THanks for visiting the last member of the three musketeers. Well, we as parents better be ready for what's to come in the future years.
